The Revival Series were top notch guitars and basses from Fernandes early to mid 80's. Is it something to do with sustain properties of the guitar? Frets are in very good To excellent condition. Whereas the accurate Squier vintage Strat replicas had typically cost between £200 and £240, the Japanese Fender-branded versions essentially the same product came in at around £350.

But if you are looking at an item that doesn't have the fee information you need then please use the or call on +44 1773 856475. I think I'm gonna go for it, it sounds... The Les Paul I had was a really nice guitar Korean built rather than Japanese weighed an absolute ton which is why I sold it, but other than that quality wise easily on par with a Gibson. The guitar has a few minor scratches and a couple of dinks on the front.

Tokai ST50 or 60

Tokai Forum - a subsidiary of TokaiRegistry. I was recently given a Tokai Goldstar Sound - Tri-colour sunburst colour with black outer edge. Which has white pickups and white pick guard. The guitar was found in a loft. We have tried to date the guitar using this site, without much joy! The guitar has a headstock just link the picture of the 1984 copy. But on the neck plate it has a 6 figure serial number! Can anyone tell me did the 1984 Tokai Goldstar Sound copies have a 6 figure serial numbers or is this an guitar older? Just like this image below! Goldstars with the Fender-correct headstock shape were available in the UK till at least the late 80s, though I don't think we've ever managed to pin down an exact date for when the modified ones like yours first started to be sold over here. The US got that headstock shape from around 1984, but the rest of the world was later. I would guess at 90s, but it's hard to date Goldstars as the serial numbers are no help. Mike Sorry the picture I posted had the wrong headstock! This is the headstock shape and lettering on my Goldstar. So from what you said it must be from between 1984 till 1990ish! Was that world wide or just UK etc? Was that world wide or just UK etc? If I recall, it was only for the export models that the headstock changed in 85. The non export headstocks remained correct thru 85 and into 86. Like someone said earlier, the serial numbers on someTokais don't do much in terms of dating them correctly. Not bad for a freebie!! Any ideas of worth anyone? If not, who knows? We need to see detailed pics of the actual guitar to be sure what it is. We will notice details that you might not. Without proper pics this is all guesswork. What about the tri colour with black edge? Will post picture this evening. What about the tri colour with black edge? Will post picture this evening. Sounds like you are describing a three tone sunburst. What about the tri colour with black edge? Will post picture this evening. Is this a ST55? If not do you know what serial? Any Idea of value as I wish toget it insured for safety. Hard to say exactly what model it is without more detailed pics and clearer if possible showing the body detail on the front and back, back of the headstock and tuners, and body cavity along with underside of the pickguard showing the bottom of the pickups. I'd bet it's an ST50 or similar.

Note that this also allows you to purchase add on items such as , and also , without paying any extra shipping on them. Remove the front pick-up and look in the cavity. Was that world wide or just UK etc? Eventually, as the company found that the demand for their popular replicas grew and that the size of the production was getting too large, they relinquished their Stratocaster division to Fender Japan in late 1981. It got nicked and I replaced it with a authentic Gibson - this Gibson felt like a plank of wood in comparison. Also, if your Love Rock has 3 screws in the truss rod cover, it is Korean. THIS IS A COPY OF THE 1957 FENDER STRATOCASTER,FINISHED IN FIESTA RED,ALDER BODY,ONE PIECE MAPLE NECK,VINTAGE HARDWARE FENDER STAMPED SADDLES,VINTAGE STYLE KLUSON TUNERS,3 USA MADE SINGLE COILS STAGGERING POLEPIECES. GUITAR PLAYS WONDERFUL AND SOUNDS AMAZING,IT CAN COMPETE WITH ALL MODERN HIGH END JAZZ GUITARS.
